Hello Friend,
It's that time of year again! There's a festive chill in the air, extended mall hours and Starbucks holiday [red] cups roaming the streets. Christmas is just around the corner!
Whatever your method of celebrating the holiday season, buying gifts for friends and family is often on the list of pre-25th to-do's for many people.
Over the past few days we've spent countless hours researching [mainly feeding our @Pinterest addiction] and have come across some truly creative and thoughtful gifts for the geeks in the family (everyone has at least one - so don't be embarassed).
Instead of posting a 'top-things-to-buy-for-your-geek-friends' list (just because we're all geeks doesn't mean we all have the same taste), we opted to share some great resources and places to look online for such things. Whether your geek prefers homemade goodies or one-of-a-kind-ultra-techy toys, you're bound to find something on one of these sites... and if you don't? Well, you're not looking hard enough.
You can thank us later.

1. PINTEREST - It's a pinboard for...well... everything. It's all organized though, so check out the Design, Geek, Technology and Products categories to get you going. Remember - you can click on an enlarged image to visit the original source webpage. You will be addicted - we warned you.
2. ThinkGeek.com - This site is loaded to the brim with über-nerd goodies for kids AND adults. They carry everything from T-Shirts to Unicorn Meat (don't ask). Prices are reasonable and the selection is unreal!
3. ThisIsWhyImBroke.com - Similar to ThinkGeek this site showcases a wide array of absolutely nerd-tastic gadgets and toys.
4. Esty.com - You can buy just about anything on this website - from handmade crafts and clothes to vintage memorabilia and one-of-a-kind gifts. Sellers are located all over the world (but mostly in US and some in Canada) and are independent. This is another site that is EASY to get addicted to AND you can browse by category therefore becoming an efficient addict at that!
